Israel apels conflict exp
My views on the activism regarding the Israel-Palestine conflict can be found here
My views on Israel in this conflict both pro and con can be found here
My views on Palestine in this conflict both pro and con can be found here
I do not advocate for a particular solution to the I-P conflict and I do not call for either a “one state solution” or a “two state solution”. Instead, I focus on the realization of basic rights and the implementation of international law. I call for respecting, protecting and promoting the rights of Palestinian refugees to return to their homes and properties as stipulated in UN resolution 194. BDS
I do not support one side over the other . I feel Israel and Palestine should work forward to class consciousness over ethnic/religious identity reddit anarchist tankiejerk https://amp.reddit.com/r/tankiejerk/comments/nbp905/what_we_can_do_about_israel_palestine/
But there are some ideas for this conflict that I can get behind as I outline here
Since 2003 I have been pro co exist on the Israel-Palestinian conflict . Its just the Israel-Palestine conflict is so deep, complicated, violent and fluid, it's hard to get a handle on that issue (war/conflict is hell)
It is like a tug of war (political analogy i apply here or from here) and it is hard to sort out which side is the aggressor and which side is acting in self defense. It is tit for tat , complex conflict where the lines between aggressor and defender is blurred and involves gray. It is like a chicken or the egg type of conflict
I believe that Benjamin Netanayahu was too tough on Palestine and the Palestinians at times.
But I like the economic Post Zionism of Netanayahu. source wikipedia
Between me supporting the state of Israel existing and the Jewish ruling class and Benjamin Netanayahu‘s economic Post Zionism means by extension I am linked to Benjamin Netanayahu’s Likud making the Avi Moaz of the Noam party the head of Jewish identity in Israel and the Likud party forming a coalition withte Religious Zionist party, Otzma Yehudit and Noam party. But six degrees of seperation is a logical fallacy (association fallacy on steroids) and thus nonsense so i support hard right zionists of Israel which is contrarian and shields me from anti zionist accusations
The Israelis are hero antagonists and I am not bummed that Israel exists (I am a Post Zionist)
According to Afro Pessimist scholar Frank B Wilderson III Israelis and Palestinians are closer and have more in common with each other than they realize “I was faced with the realization that in the collective unconscious, Palestinian insurgents have more in common with the Israeli state and civil society than they do with Black people. What they share is a largely unconscious consensus that Blackness is a locus of abjection to be instrumentalized on a whim.”
So even the oppressed but nonblack freedom fighter who fights against a white supremacist, settler colonial project (Israel), as Wilderson III claims, has anti-blackness in common with their oppressor. He goes on to claim that the conflict between Israel and Palestine is only intelligible through anti-blackness:
Without the articulation of a common negrophobogenesis that relays between Israel and Palestine, the narrative coherence of their bloody conflict would evaporate. My friend’s and his fellow Palestinians’ negrophobogenesis is the bedrock, the concrete slabs upon which any edifice of Human articulation (whether love or war) is built. Though this piece from Jacobin is a nice counter to this argument
